Element Soap — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of elementsoap.ca and any purchase made through it. The site is operated by The Element Soap ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. Products

We sell handmade, cold-process soap and related personal care products. Product descriptions, images, and ingredient lists are provided to the best of our knowledge; actual products may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of each batch.

3. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline. Orders are confirmed by email once payment is received. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice prior to order confirmation.

4. Shipping and Local Pickup

We offer local pickup in the Vancouver / New Westminster / Tri-Cities area and shipping across Canada and internationally. Delivery times are estimates only; we are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs processing for international orders.

5. Returns and Refunds

Due to the handmade and personal-care nature of our products, refunds and returns are limited to unopened, unused items within 14 days of delivery, with exceptions made for defective or damaged items. Contact support@elementsoap.in to start a return.

6. Allergies and Skin Reactions

Our products are made with natural ingredients that may still cause allergic reactions in some individuals. We recommend a patch test before full use. If you experience irritation, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Please review the ingredient list for each product before use, particularly for babies, children, or pets.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Element Soap is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.

8. Privacy

Your use of the site is governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect only the information needed to process your order and communicate with you, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties. Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting support@elementsoap.in.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
